Yet another feather has been added to SSM College of Engineering Parihaspora after its faculty Ms. Haya Qazi got patent in the field of Civil Engineering on developing the technology “Prefabricated flanged load bearing pile for sandy strata “accepted and published .The technological invention has been published under application number 202311012579 in the patent journal in its issue number 11/2023 dated 17th March 2023. The published patent has a great scope of application in construction industry for load bearing piles in non cohesive sandy soils. The piles are pre fabricated and not labour intensive. They can be used immediately after placing with least effort and lesser cost as compared to conventional load bearing piles.
