Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering was established in the year 1998 with the initial intake of 60 students to run a four year B.E course with focus on latest developments in technology. The intake of the department was increased from 60 to 120 in the year 2010-2011. The department also started PG course in Electronics and Communication( M-Tech ECE) from the year 2018 with the intake capacity of 18 students. Through effective teaching and research related activities, the department seeks to strengthen the ongoing process of churning out highly skilled technocrats. The department has highly qualified and experienced faculty on its roll. Many faculty members have research related as well as Industrial experience. Their consistent guidance to the students has been producing excellent results.

The students are being encouraged to attend courses in the field of Robotics, Embedded Systems and Electronic CAD etc. We have a focused approach for the all-round personality development of the students by organizing guest lecturers by Industry experts, seminars and industrial visits so that students get required industry exposure to the latest developments in the field.

Summarily, we ensure that students passing out after the course are fully ready to compete successfully in the professional world and contribute towards the benefit of the society as a whole.
