SSM College of Engineering Celebrates Graduation Day 2025: A Grand Feliciation for 500 Graduates.

A grand event of Graduation Day was celebrated by SSM College of Engineering, Diver Parihaspora on 29th May 2025 in its campus to felicitate about 500 passed-out students in different streams. Er. Shantmanu (IAS) Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary) Higher Education Department J&K Government, Mrs. Roma Wani (KAS) Former Member National Managing Body (Red Cross Society), Dr. G.N. Qasba (IAS) Former Commissioner SMC Senior Advisor IRADs, Er. M.A. Fazili Former Chief Engineer J&K Government, Er. Amir Ali Mir Superintendent Engineer, Rural Engineering Wing Kashmir, Mr. Abdul Manan Tramboo Chairman Khyber Greens Private Limited, Prof. (Dr.) Chuni Lal Vishen Chairman CASET Experimental School Srinagar, Mr. G.N. Var President Private Schools Association UT of J&K, Mr. Raja Aijaz Ali (IPS) Chairman Kashmir College of Engineering & Technology and other distinguished and respectable dignitaries, prominent Alumni of the College graced the occasion with their presence.
Welcoming the Chief Guest, Guest of Honours and other dignitaries Mrs. Dilafrose Qazi, Chairperson of the Institute, in her address expressed gratitude from the core of heart to the dignitaries, Alumni and passing out students.
Mr. Shantmanu (IAS) Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary) Higher Education Department J&K Government who himself is a Mechanical Engineer was the Cheif Guest. He lauded that this Institute survived out of the decades turmoil and threat. Mrs. Roma Wani (KAS) advised the students to spread love and humanity. Dr. G. N. Qasba related the golden advice of his teacher while passing out his graduation that “the Degree earned by you will not be worn for display but it the conduct which will differentiate you from the others”.
On this occasion the Chairperson not only made mention of the Alumni who had come but walked down to them and expressed pride that the Alumni have acted as ambassadors of the Institution and have put deep imprints of their presence in the field they are working.
