It is with immense pride and excitement that I welcome you to the newly-launched B.Tech Artificial Intelligence program at SSM College of Engineering. As we inaugurate this program in the academic year 2025, we are embarking on a transformative journey together in a field that is shaping the future of technology and society.
Our department is dedicated to laying a strong theoretical foundation while providing hands-on experience in domains such as Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing and Data Analytics. Through rigorous coursework, real-world projects, and active research, our aim is to nurture innovation, critical thinking, and ethical responsibility in every student.
This first batch marks a new chapter for our college, and as pioneers, you will help set high standards and traditions for future cohorts. I invite each student to seize every opportunity, leverage the mentorship, and make the most of our state-of-the-art resources.

PO - 1 Engineering Knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, and engineering fundamentals with an AI specialization to solve complex engineering problems.

PO - 2 Problem Analysis: Identify, formulate, and analyze complex AI problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.

PO - 3 Design/Development of Solutions: Design solutions for complex AI-related challenges and develop system components or processes that meet specified needs, considering public health, safety, and cultural and environmental aspects.
