Resilience Starts Here: SSM College Unveils DRR–CCA Club for Disaster & Climate Readiness

SSM College proudly launched the DRR–CCA (Disaster Risk Reduction & Climate Change Adaptation) Club today, in collaboration with RedR and the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF).

This initiative marks a significant step towards empowering students with knowledge, preparedness, and practical skills to build safer, more resilient communities.

The DRR–CCA Club aims to create awareness on disaster risks, promote climate-resilient practices, train students in emergency response, and inspire youth-led action for a sustainable future. Through workshops, drills, expert sessions, and community outreach, the club will nurture responsible citizen leaders who can respond effectively to the challenges of a changing climate.
