Plant Today, Save Tomorrow: SSM College Leads Green Initiative on World Environment Day 2026

SSM College of Engineering, in collaboration with the J&K Forest Department and Students’ Council, organized a plantation drive on 06 June 2026 to mark World Environment Day. Students, faculty, and officials actively participated in planting saplings across the campus, promoting environmental awareness and sustainability.

The event highlighted the importance of tree plantation, pollution control, and collective responsibility towards nature, and concluded with a strong message for a greener and sustainable future.
