The week long environmental awareness campaign by SSM College of Engineering was concluded today at the campus. During the campaign cleanliness drives were conducted at Tangmarg and at campus. Outdoor classroom was setup and Plantation was done at the campus.
The concluding event was attended by Mr. Manzoor Ahmad Wangnoo Head of Nigeen Lake Conservation Organisation, Mr GN Var President Private Schools United Front, Dr Kundangar environmentalist, Dr M.A Shah HOD PG Physics NIT Srinagar, Mr Mehrajudin Malik Regional Director Department of Social Forestry, Mr Arshid Ahmad Lala DFO Baramulla, Dr Barkat Hussain. Various schools like SRM welkin, Model School, Baramulla Public School, St Joseph’s School and Bilaliya Educational Institute participated in the activities highlighting the importance of environmental protection.
