To bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, the students of B. Tech 8th semester (Batch 2021) embarked on an educational visit to the Tengpora Bypass Bridge. The visit was meticulously organized by our esteemed alumni, Assistant Engineer Mr. Hillal Ahmad Malla, and was further enriched by the presence of Er. Shaista Kanni (Assistant Professor Civil Engineering).
This field visit provided students with an invaluable opportunity to observe engineering principles in action. They were able to witness the complexities of bridge construction, understand the challenges faced during its execution, and gain insights into modern engineering solutions. Engaging with industry experts on-site offered them a deeper understanding of structural design, material selection, and safety considerations, making the experience both educational and inspiring.
Such practical exposure is instrumental in shaping the future of budding engineers, fostering their curiosity, and reinforcing their passion for the field. The visit not only enhanced their technical knowledge but also motivated them to aspire towards excellence in their careers. As they continue their academic journey, experiences like these serve as stepping stones towards professional growth.
Kudos to Mr. Hillal Ahmad Malla for his dedication to mentoring young engineers, and appreciation to Er. Shaista Kanni for her valuable guidance throughout the visit. The students departed with newfound inspiration and a deeper appreciation for the real-world applications of their studies.
This visit stands as a testament to the importance of alumni engagement and practical learning, paving the way for a stronger and more insightful generation of engineers.
